In Memory

Wow, one day after the anniversary of Walt passing, his nephew has left us as well...

Roy Edward Disney, son of Walt's brother, Roy Oliver Disney was 79. Roy was a true fighter for the Disney name, the quality of it's value and an ardent supporter of the environment. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed...

A nice article over at the Los Angeles Times

I had to laugh last night, when I was visiting my Munchkins, and news of Roy Disney's passing came on the TV. I told them he was Walt Disney's nephew, and one of the Munchkins said to me...

"Walt Disney was a real person?" I laughed.

Roy Disney really kept the quality of the Disney name, didn't he?

I really, really worry what will happen now that no one with the Disney name is invovoled with the company. The Mouse has lost its Jiminy Cricket.
