After the brutal crack down on demonstrations it was starting to look as though the streets of Iran had gone silent. Not so. At least, not today. Today demonstrators took to the streets to rally in honor of the anniversary of the student uprisings of 1999. The police fought back all day, but the crowds did not disperse. Now that it is night in Iran, cries of "Allah Akbar" are being shouted from the roof tops once more.
